A New Year's Prayer

This is the last day of 2011.  Can you believe it?

*sighs*

Anyway, as you reflect on the past 12 months of 2011, always keep your focus on our King and Saviour.  He brought you through the trials and tribulations of this past year and He will do so again in 2012, as long as you trust in Him and Him alone.  Instead of remembering the bad of 2011, remember the blessings you received.

As Timon and Pumba (of The Lion King) say, "You gotta put the past behind you!" and keep moving forward.

Here's my blessing to you:

His Grace before you, His Mercy bless you, His Peace follow you, and His Love forever surround you.

May God make your year a happy one!

Not by shielding you from all sorrows and pain,

But by strengthening you to bear it, as it comes;

Not by making your path easy,

But by making you sturdy to travel any path;

Not by taking hardships from you,

But by taking fear from your heart;

Not by granting you unbroken sunshine,
