A few weeks ago, the family took a roadtrip to the mountains. The leaves had just reached their peak in color and everywhere you looked, it was gorgeous. Below are a handful of pics that I took on the trip.
The first place we stopped was Bald River Falls. We spent quite a while there hiking to the top, skipping rocks, and taking lots o' pics. This is the bridge.

Brilliant colors.
And, of course, a bit of fun...
"Watch out, Rhen! It's a brother!!!"
The next few pics were taken at the top of the Falls.
A family of mushrooms and their estranged uncle Louis....
Here's the brother again, skipping rocks. He was pretty good.
Fishin' for ammo.
The sisters, water gazing.
The gargoyle. I call it the... um... Rhen.
Can you see the bridge?
After the Falls, we headed towards the Citico Creek campgrounds for a drive. Here's one of the pics along the way.
Beautiful area.
And finally, on our way home, we can find Rhen enjoying the refreshing air. I think she understands why dogs love to hang out an open window with tongues out and ears flapping. *chuckles* All in good fun.
All in all, it was a great relaxing trip. I'm so glad that we could do it as a family, enjoying creation and Creator together.
Bless the Lord, O my soul!
Thanks for reading!
Check back soon!!
