March 2016

Helloooo!
I'm back and showing you last months pictures!
It was a marvelous month-- sunny, windy, gloomy, rainy, cold....
It had a little bit of everything.
This set is on a sunny day trip to Gee Creek!

It's the new cousin!!
Such a cutie!

Climbin' the swing set.

Dear little friend from far away!
She's a sweetheart!

My growing cuz.
He keeps measuring how tall he is to me!
Almost there, bud!

This dude is already taller than me!
That is, when I'm not wearing my heels.

Finally we got in the river.
It was FREEZING!

Someone was smart enough to wear boots while the rest were
barefoot.

Such a pretty area.
And now, finally, our feet got numb, but our legs hurt 'cause
it was sooooo cold!

Don't remember what that face was for...

Then, the little dudes found the water...
And mud...

Talk about a dramatic looking off into the distance.

Yeah, I don't know what they're looking at.
I probably took this pic when this bud was talking.
He likes to talk.

Well, there is our Gee Creek adventure!
We take quite a few adventures there.
But it's such a beautiful place, how can you not?!
I hope you enjoyed this post!

Until next time, dearies!

The Sequoyah Museum

As I promised, all these pictures are of an event that took place at the Sequoyah Birthplace Museum.
I had loads of pictures of the place but I didn't want to overwhelm you!
Sooo... I hope you enjoy all of my photos as much as I enjoyed taking them!

This lady gave a little lesson on the ladies of the Civil War era.
Her husband is a Civil War doctor reenactor.
You'll see him in a bit.

Cherokees doing a couples dance.

A lady making corn husk dolls.

Just standing and talking behind a cannon.

Loved this folding chair!

Southern soldiers.

Look at the magnificent clouds!!

Check out this adorable puppy!
The poor dear was absolutely terrified by the cannon fire!

Here is a battle reenactment.

The South won this battle!
Whoo!

The gentleman with the awesome white beard is the husband of the lady from the first picture.
Now, let me tell you, these two men got into their role very seriously.

Mr. Jarfly.

To cheer this bloke up, all you got to do is take pictures!

What a handsome fella!

Heehee! She didn't want her picture taken!

Our next reenactors.

At the end of the day.
That's me, if you didn't know.
Do you hear the Jaws music?

Wow.
That's a lot of pictures.
I do hope you enjoyed them!
Looking through this folder, I think I may have to do another post of this month!
I have a plethora of car pictures that I took when we stopped at a drive-in diner after the museum!

Until next time, mes amis!

Catching Up

Ah, what a wonderful gloomy day it is today!
I would like a little more sunshine, but it is still so wonderful!

Well, I promised more photographs to catch you lot up on the past couple years.
And I mean to honor that promise!
So here you go!

May 2015

This is the kind of pictures I love to take!

I do believe she loves her dog!

July 2015
June was skipped. Wasn't a most joyful month.

Here is Jamin! I think he loves Nova, too!

Goodness! I love clouds! And the lighting was gorgeous as well!

"Antenna of power!"
If you've seen Kung Fu Panda 3, you'll understand that quote.
By the way, look up Kai's Arrival on the soundtrack! My favorite theme of the movie!

August 2015

A rainy day at Indian Boundry.

It's Sarah!
Isn't she pretty!

Julia relaxing in her hammock! It's her favorite way to pass time camping!

September 2015

My favorite model. Though I think she only tolerates me!

Jamin's hatchet! He made the handle and I burned the design!

During the summer, our cows are visited by cattle egrets.
Beautiful little birds!

So, next is October and November, but apparently I didn't take pictures then...
I do have a bit in December!
And I shall revisit September again because we went to the Sequoya Museum and saw a Civil War reenactment!

Until then, my friends!

It's Been How Long?!

My oh my.
It has been nearly two years since last I tried to post anything!

If you keep up with my dear sister Sarah's blog you will know what has taken place this past year alone.

Never before have I felt such heartache that lasts for so long!
But even in all this gloomy mess I can only praise God!
I mean, how can I not worship Him?!
He loves me!
Little speck of dust me.
How can the Creator of galaxies think that I am worth His love?
It makes me smile and rejoice that He would bend down and listen to my whispers and prayers!
Goodness! I'm getting excited just thinking about it!

Hmmm.... I use a lot of exclamation marks....

Well, I am going to share with you some pictures-- just a few-- from over the past year!

January 2015

My squid hat eating our little snowy village!

A darling sweet kitty loving on Julia (with it's claws...)

February 2015

Julia's wonderful pyrenees, Nova, who is now quite massive.

We had a lot of snow last year!

March 2015

I was playing around with some of my gold paint.

Made a cute little bookmark!

Isn't he sweet!

April 2015

Went on a hike with my family and some cousins!
Wonderful natural stairs.

Little bro taking a rest.

This is a cute little tyke!

I took a picture of a snail!

Even though last year seemed absolutely terrible, there were still many times when we could laugh away the sorrows and just enjoy the time we had.

Well, I hope you enjoyed this little post!
I will post some more pictures of last year soon!
Goodness! It was hard to just choose a few pictures from each month! There are sooo many I left out!

Until next time, dearies!
