New Recipe: Stromboli

I tried a new recipe yesterday and it was delicious!  The whole family said it was a keeper. ^ _ ^
It's called Italian Sausage and Pepperoni Stromboli and you can find it where I found it, on Pinterest.  I have found so many good recipes there!  You can find this recipe on any of the links above or you can click here.

This particular recipe called for marinara sauce, but I'm sure you could use any kind of tomato sauce and it would still be delicious.  Because this was the first time trying this recipe, I followed it word for word.
So, I'm going to advertise the cheapest marinara sauce that we found at our local Walmart.
Emeril's!
It was really good, by the way.

If you go to the links above, the recipe will show you in step by step pictures the how-to.  So, I will just share the pics I happened to take while making this yummy dish.

It called for one pound of pizza dough, and just because it was easier, we bought a ready-made dough at the store.  Next time, I hope to make a dough using our freshly-milled flour.

Once you put all the ingredients onto the dough, like a pizza, you lightly brush with olive oil and roll it up, forming a Stromboli.

Bake for about 25 minutes, let cool for 5, and enjoy!

O, look at all that yummy cheese!
I did make a minor adjustment to the recipe and added two extra slices of cheese...

Serve with salad, or any other side of choice.

And dig in!

Until next time,
