Jen's Trick!

Adventures, traveling, far away lands.
What makes you think of these words? I think of trains, which leads to Arizona and the western states. Driving through those states you see many trains.
What about books? I bet you think of those when you hear the word 'adventure'.
I read the Lord of the Rings trilogy a while back. And the urge to travel and explore filled my heart. Ah, to travel to Middle Earth, to go on adventures! How I longed for an adventure.
Well, I got my wish.
I didn't go to a far away land for it though. I went on a walk with my grandparents, then I went with them to an elderly friend to help fix her tractor. That led to helping her locate a cow that had been attacked by some dogs. We were joined by a vet and took off hunting for the cow. That took a bit of time. After a half hour or so, give or take a few minutes, we found the wounded bovine, who was not about to get caught. I, my grandparents, friend, and the vet ran all over that farm, chasing the cow.
That was an adventure! We finally caught the cow gave her some antibiotics, then took her to the barn.
Then, exactly a week later, at the Upward Awards Ceremony night, this happened:

Adventures! Ha! They're everywhere! You don't have to watch a movie or read a book to have your own adventure.
All you have to do is say 'yes'.
I did, usually without knowing what's going to happen, but that's the beauty of it.
Let it take you by surprise! In doing so, you make the most wonderful memories. Memories that will last a lifetime.

I hope you enjoyed my post, I know I enjoyed reliving them!
Have a blessed day!

Oh my goodness! Jenny! Wow. That's one crazy adventure! Not everyone can say they were lifted onto the shoulders of a stranger who then took a ride on a unicycle! Not everyone would be as willing as you! =)

Morgan: she had no idea before he asked her! It was the next day when we found out the Upward director had actually volunteered for her!!

It was quite an experience for her. I'm just glad it wasn't me!!!

Thanks for commenting, ladies!
