One and Twenty Years Ago...

...a little girl was born.

Sorry, I couldn't think of anything more creative to say, so there it is.  Twenty-one years ago our wonderful elder sister came into this world, and we are so grateful for her!

To commemorate this exciting day, I wish to show a few pictures of our beautiful sister and list a few reasons as to why we love her.

So, without futher ado...

We love Sarah's thoughtfulness and creative stories.

We love her sweet spirit and clever (aka: corny, cheesy, etc.) wit.

We love Sarah's master-cake-decorating skills!
Particularly when we get to eat the results.

We love Sarah's lovely smile, her sparkling eyes, and her friendly laugh--
especially when she starts laughing and literally can't stop, turning rather red in the face as she gasps for air in great, noisy heaves, something that adds to the hilarity and causes her to lose control all over again.

We love Sarah's cowgirl hat and her Daddy-inspired love for Louis L'Amour westerns.

We love her deer-in-the-headlights-look as she vacuums our Build-a-Bear collection.

We love Sari's farm-raised work ethic.
And the fact that she cannot cluck like a chicken.

We love her photographer's eye, her ability to see beauty and capture it, even though it means we have to fight to catch her on the other side of the lens.

Most of all, we love Sarah because she is the godly sister God has so graciously blessed us with, and we wouldn't have it any other way.

Happy Birthday, Sarah!
